Not sure. I definitely can’t imagine not feeling, breathing or thinking. Not being.
That’s impossible to get your head around.
I know that a lot of people worry about their funerals and wanting everything to be perfect, but if you think about it, a funeral is really for the living, so that they can say goodbye to you, and hopefully get some closure.
You’ll be dead. You won’t know. You won’t be.
I don’t know about life after death. I think a lot of people hold onto the idea because humans can’t imagine not being alive. And it sounds nice. But I don’t think that I believe in heaven and hell. What if your life was perfectly ordinary? And isn’t one of the commandments ‘don’t judge’? (trying to remember R.E from 11 or 12 years ago…) Why would God then judge? I can’t beleve in something so straight, narrow, constrictive, rigid and archaic as all that. And anyways, wouldn’t both be reeeeally crowded by now? And how boring would that be, living on and on forever with a bunch of dead guys? Yikes :P
Heck Yeah tumblr Challenges: Deep Thoughts About You: Day 1: One interesting fact for every year you’ve been alive
1: I HATE spiders. 2: I love to sing. 3: I have been playing piano for 9 and a half years. 4: I’m currently studying film. 5: I love musicals and opera and the theatre. A6: I lurrrrvve shoes. 7: I want to live for at least 6 months in Italy and speak fluent Italian. 8: I don’t really like to cook— if it’s microwaveable, then yay! But if I have to cook, I’ll do it properly, I won’t just eat 2-minute noodles forever. But I like baking. 9: I like drawing and designing things. 10: I would like to design shoes one day, own a store that’s a cross between Typo, Dangerfield and vinatgey homewares stuff and also run a little cinema where I can choose what plays instead of just playing mainstream crapola. 11: If I end up having kids one day, I want two girls, either twins or close in age, and I like the names Demeter and Audrey. At the moment, anyways! And I want a career before kids, but I want kids before I’m 40. 12: I collect heart-shaped sunglasses even though I have to wear prescription. 13: I have been in RENT. 14: I wish I was more flexible and could dance. I get jealous of ballet dancers haha! 15: I love the Sims, but will resolutely stick to 2. 16: I automatically assume people: won’t like me/if hitting on me are actually making fun of me/laughing about something and I can’t see what I assume it’s me. Thanks, everyone asshole I have ever met. Thanks for screwing me up. 17: Thanks to these jerks, it also takes me awhile to trust people, and I still rarely let on when I’m upset or angry. 18: I never really liked birds much u until we got some at pets; now I love them, I think that they’re beautiful and cute. 19: I rarely watch TV- I just buy shows I like on DVD.
DAY 5. Name your favorite sport and how you became interested in it. If you don’t like sports, tell us why :) -
Yeahhh… I reeeeally don’t like playing sports. Not too sure why, I’m just more indoors-y, creative, arty and musical. I’m not really into running around and around a field, getting all sweaty and muddy… I’m also not terribly good at any sports so I don’t really get enjoyment from it. Like, NONE of my family is into sports and I get really annoyed when I hear celebrities talking about how all kids should play sport. I know that a lot of kids learn about team work and important things like that but yeesh! What do they know? (there are other ways to learn all that tuff too, so watev…)
I HATE playing soccer, footy, rugby, basketball, tennis, rounders, etc At school I would just stand around with a bunch of friends and not do anything haha! I also majorly HATE netball, just becasue it’s so restricitve and dumb.
So sports that I don’t mind would be fencing, gymnastics, dancing, badminton (ok, so you run around a bit..), volleyball, and I don’t mind baseball. Oh, and bowling! That’s a sport I think :) I also used to like track running/hurdles coz I was a fast sprinter but I’m soooo unfit atm it’s terrible! :/ I should fix that… I also like to walk and ride my bike, which aren’t exactly sports. (well.. cycling is… ah well…)
I like watching sports more than playing them. And the only ones I like watching are pretty much just soccer, the footy (AFL) and the Olympics.
